Here are some general tips and advice on how to be accepted to the site. If you've been declined before or just want an extra edge when applying, this thread is for you!
Spelling and Grammar We want to be sure that our members will be able to communicate with each other easily and try to eliminate as much misunderstanding as possible. Since all of our communication will be through words, spelling and grammar are particularly important. It's not a big deal if you have occasional spelling/grammar errors once you are on the site, but your application should represent the best of your abilities. Double and triple check your application for any errors before submitting.
Authenticity At Salvation, we really take the Renaissance aspect of this RPG seriously. If you come in with an application for 'Raven Moondancer' the female soldier of England, your application will be politely denied. Names should be from the Renaissance period (preferably from the 16th century/1500s) and occupations should generally match the gender and social status of your character. If you are unsure of something, feel free to ask the staff for help in the Questions board or do a little research. Likewise, natural hair colors and eye colors are appreciated. Don't forget to double check to make sure your weapons of choice are also appropriate for the time period!
Manners If some one on the staff contacts you to help you and points out errors in your application, be kind and courteous. Rude people are not welcome on Salvation.
